CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal TV April 26, 2017) Five women artists in one corner of Shutesbury, MA offer this opportunity to tour their home studios the day before Mothers Day.
We heard from:
- Valerie Gilman creates sculpture and pottery in her home studio, teaches art and guides people in creative process as a tool for personal healing and growth.
- Ziporah Hildebrandt coaxes nature’s colors from garden trees, plants and flowers. Using contemporary eco methods and Japanese shibori traditions, she naturally dyes patterns on silk.
- Leslie Cerier uses her camera like a paintbrush. Passionate about light, water and landscapes, she clicks the shutter when she sees that rich, afternoon peak sunlight, creating impressionistic nature photographs that look like paintings.
