This fun and informative organic garden to table hands-on vegetarian cooking class is designed for both novice and seasoned cooks. Gourmet organic chef, teacher, and cookbook author Leslie Cerier shows you how to use herbs and spices to make delicious, healthy, globally inspired dishes, from appetizers to desserts. We take our inspiration from the bounty of Leslie’s organic garden, as we pick herbs, vegetables and edible flowers to prepare our lunch and dinner Saturday

Come learn how to
• Stock a cornucopia of fresh and dried herbs and spices
• Create international dishes, exploring which herb and spice combinations make foods Indian, Mediterranean, French, African, Asian, Mexican, and more
• Use herbs as garnishes
• Cook beans and grains from scratch with herbs and spices
• Correct dishes that are too spicy, sour, bitter, or bland
• Make your own herbal vinegar, flavored oils, and dressings.
This workshop is guaranteed to expand your creativity in the kitchen and nurture a luscious lifestyle.

Schedule:

Friday June 29; 7:30-9PM Welcome, Introductions, organic herb infused water and teas offered and Leslie will demo and make a dish

Saturday June 30: 11AM-2PM, Hands on Cooking Class to make our lunch as well as time in Leslie’s garden to pick fresh herbs for the meal

Saturday 5PM-8PM, Hands on Cooking Class to make our dinner as well as time in Leslie’s garden to pick fresh herbs for the meal

Sunday July 1st: 10:30AM-Noon: Make Leslie famous truffles with spices, Q&A, wrap up and discussion

Menu for lunch and dinner based on the local organic harvest. Please let Leslie know about any food allergies. Meals will be gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian

Fee is $250 for the whole weekend

Or Come for part of the weekend:

$150 for Saturday full day

$75 half day (Lunch Class) Saturday June 30: 11AM-2PM, Hands on Cooking Class to make our lunch as well as time in Leslie’s garden to pick fresh herbs for the meal

$75 half day (Dinner Class) Saturday 5PM-8PM, Hands on Cooking Class to make our dinner as well as time in Leslie’s garden to pick fresh herbs for the meal

$50 for Friday June 29; 7:30-9PM Welcome, Introductions, organic herb infused water and teas offered and Leslie will demo and make a dish
