Extra virgin olive oil and garlic go with just about everything. Italian
sautés use garlic with basil, oregano, marjoram, mint, thyme, rosemary, bay
leaves, saffron, Italian parsley, sage, and pepper. My favorite combination is
garlic, thyme, basil, and oregano.
