The morning after a late night flight, I made this delicious, energizing smoothie for breakfast. Chia seeds and cashews make a rich and creamy drink, a perfect indulgence, pick me snack or breakfast treat. Nutritious, vegan, gluten-free, non dairy smoothie is a great meal to start any day. Quick and easy to prepare. All about the YUM and a great recipe to get over jet lag!
5 ¼ cups water
¼ cup organic maple syrup or organic coconut sugar
1 tablespoon organic vanilla extract
Puree all the ingredients into a blender. Taste and adjust the sweetness, if desired.
