My artwork is for inspiration and healing. Capturing the Soul of the Moment, I hike into the woods and take photos using natural sunlight. The sun calls me to a spot, I click the shutter, when I see that dancing light, peak light. These patterns are also called refractory patterns of light by scientists. I call them Jewels in the Water. I love my summer ritual. After waking up, stroll out to my edible forest garden; snack on handfuls of wild, organic berries. Earlier in the summer, there were plenty of ripe ,organic, wild, blueberries. Plenty for the birds, my family, organic B&B guests, clients, and friends. Last week, when winter turned to summer, I took a hike with a dear friend on a nearby shaded forest trail surrounded with cool shallow streams. In Shutesbury, MA, near my home, there are lots of trails in the woods. It was good to be Under the Forest Canopy, connecting with my friend, getting some exercise amidst the beauty of the woods.
