Cook with Confidence

“Have you ever thought of cooking as a spiritual experience? A zen state of mind? Leslie Cerier has, and when she talks about cooking or picking and smelling herbs from her vegetable garden, I was transported.

Leslie has a wonderful approach to cooking that I am so excited to share with you. She talks about focusing our minds and slowing down before diving in to a recipe, then using that focus to express yourself through your cooking and your presentation.” says Lisa King.

Garlic Scapes, YAY!

Garlic Scapes
Garlic Scapes are here! YAY!

Garlic Scapes are the flowering tops of garlic. While we wait for the garlic bulb to mature and fatten up. We snap them off the scapes, also known as garlic flowers. Delicious and tender, try them in stir fries, pesto, dressings, sauces; anywhere you might use garlic cloves or scallions.

And if you like, you can also use the scape to make Garlic Flavored oil, which you can drizzle on pasta, soup, salad, bread, and more.
