Summer fresh, organic beets, carrots, zucchini, garlic scapes held together with ground organic chia seeds, flax seeds, black sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds. Many years ago, I was coached to spend a week just making art; hike on the trails behind my home, take and make more Impressionistic Nature Photographs. “Dreaming of You” was taken back then on a hot summer day. I sat for a long time, watching and meditating on the light on this shallow stream. Listening to the sweet sound of the gently moving water. Do you like to dress your salad with garden fresh organic herbs and edible flowers?
While I have sustained some lost of veggies to a lucky rabbit, I am happy to eat the nasturtiums, calendula and borage flowers, thyme leaves, and arugala from my organic garden. My CSA, the biodynamic, organic Brookfield Farm I belong to is my food land security. Lots of veggies to come from my garden, but in the meantime, I am well fed by CSA. How about you?
