It has been about 10 years since I used a sunscreen. And I spend at least 2 hours a day outside year round. In the summer, on hot sunny days, I spend most of the day outside: swimming in fresh water ponds, gardening, picking and eating berries, farm fresh veggies, lots of green salad seasoned with fresh herbs, and decorated with edible flowers, harvested from my organic garden.
Never burn.
How do I do it?
Combination of organic, local, seasonal eating; my vegetarian diet is also rich in healthy fats, oils and Omega 3 fatty acids like hemp seeds. Lifestyle plays a role. And there’s lots of other foods that I eat that I have not mentioned yet.
