This morning, as I looked around my newly painted kitchen, I felt so grateful. While color is a part of it, the process of letting go, paring down, and looking at what I need was transforming. I realized this is the first time, I am looking at letting go of the “just in case” and trusting that I always have what I need…
In starting the renovation process, I did not realize how changing the surfaces of my kitchen would also change me from the inside out. It became about abundance. Suddenly letting go of the chipped mugs in my cabinets became a mirror to some things I have been struggling with this past winter… Possibly old ideas of who I was and how to shift to something new…. This whole idea of nourishment, which seems to be a theme for me…and of course why wouldn’t it be…
Food is my medicine…
