CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal TV; September 11, 2014) – Want a healthy snack that you can eat without feeling guilty afterwards? Leslie Cerier, the Organic Gourmet from, showed us how to make some healthy popcorn.

Make your Own Organic Popcorn

2 Tablespoon organic virgin coconut oil
¼ cup organic popping corn
½ Teaspoon sea salt
2 Tablespoons nutritional yeast or a combination of kelp, dulse sea vegetable seasonings, garlic powder, cayenne, sesame seeds….

Melt 1 tablespoon in a wok or 6 quart pot with a lid over medium high heat. Add popping corn. Cover and let it pop for a few minutes. Turn off the heat when all the kernels have popped. Transfer to a bowl. In a small fry pan, melt 1 tablespoon coconut oil. Drizzle melted oil over popcorn and add your favorite seasonings. Serve immediately.
