This Eco-Cooking Tip for cooking on electric and gas stoves will save you money and energy. The trick is to turn off your electric or gas stove prematurely and let the residual heat finish the cooking, especially if they have cast iron grates on top of the flames, as in my Wolf Stove. They will hold the heat and continue cooking even with the heat off.
