Hope that you have much beauty blossoming in your life. I am grateful for all of you.
This spring, I have been enjoying cooking for some of my favorite personal chef clients, creating new menus with some signature dishes and creating new recipes for you to accommodate your food preferences. Teaching many private and group classes; thanks to those that have combined staying at my Gourmet Getaway. And it has been fun to visit some of your kitchens for private lessons, too. Inspiring you to engage your senses and trust your intuition, to “Embody a Delicious Life” while ” Cooking From Your Heart.” Surrounded by my Impressionistic Nature Photography on the inside of my natural passive solar home and the organic gardens outside. Yay Spring!
One of the private lessons, in honor of a birthday, turned into a luscious experience with women massaging each other with coconut oil, in between, learning knives skills and how to harvest and cook with fresh herbs from my kitchen herb garden. They also learned how to create their own curry with spices. Effortlessly, chop onions and kale. Rip the local organic spinach with our hands, mixing and matching the seasonal vegetables into 2 dishes. The pleasure that went into making this very flavorful coconut curry lentil vegetable soup filled us up. With gratitude for each other, and the organic farmers that grew the veggies, we ate slowly, savoring life and the beauty of the gardens on a sunny warm spring day.

In a relaxed, warm and nourishing environment, Leslie will show you how she mixes and matches our local harvest to make a delicious dish for us all to eat, while Stephen creates an original score by looping the sounds in the kitchen with spontaneous live cello music! Time for discussion while we snack, engage our senses and come together to nurture/support/encourage each other’s passion for self-expression.

A pinch of this, a sprinkle of that—the right herbs and spices enhance the flavor of any dish. This fun and informative garden to table hands-on vegetarian cooking class is designed for both novice and seasoned cooks. Gourmet organic chef, teacher, and cookbook author Leslie Cerier shows you how to use herbs and spices to make delicious, healthy, globally inspired dishes, from appetizers to desserts. We take our inspiration from the bounty of Leslie’s organic garden, as we pick herbs, vegetables and edible flowers to prepare our lunch and dinner Saturday.
This is my first farm to table weekend teaching from my organic garden. If you took this weekend workshop with me before at Kripalu, please come again, this will be a different menu, and a new experience.
