Hands on Brunch Cooking Class
In this hands on vegetarian farm to table cooking class in person and on Zoom, Leslie Cerier, The Organic Gourmet presents a variety of local organic tree products: chestnut flour, hickory nut oil, maple syrup to make scrumptious gluten free waffles and pancakes.
Leslie will also demonstrate how to make your own organic almond milk to make hot cacao drinks for everyone. Think hot chocolate made with foods grown on trees: raw organic cacao, almonds, maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon. Yes these all grow on trees.
Leslie provides snacks:
- Organic Cilantro Almond Dip, dipping veggies and crackers
- Organic nuts (pistachios, walnuts, almonds)
- Organic fresh and dried fruits (dates, figs, citrus)
- Organic olives
- Fair trade organic coffee
- Leslie’s infamous organic non caffeinated chai with cinnamon
- Well water with sliced organic lemons
Participants will eat what we cook for our brunch.
Thanks to a generous Grant from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation:
- Class Fee is $50/per person
- Children, ages 9-12, $20 each & are welcomed to cook supervised by their parent or adult attending the class
- Children age 8 and under are free accompanied by a parent or adult attending the class
- $50 for FaceTime or Zoom link; covers everyone in your kitchen
