Circling and Nature Retreat

Experience the potency of a group of people who slow down together

-This day-long retreat is for people with Circling experience who would like to unplug and connect.

-In contrast to multi-tasking, rushing, falling short of expectations and distraction, we will soften into connection with self, others and nature

-We will practice listening— listening to the wind, the undercurrents of social interaction, the silence, the space in between us, the little desires that often go unnoticed, the voices inside that long to both be understood and understand others

-Each person will have the opportunity to be Circled by a small group

-Slowing down for a whole day can make a big impact on your sense of well-being

-We will have time to be together as a large group, in small groups and time to be alone in nature.

Details:

When: Saturday, May 17, 10am – 5ishpm

Where: Nestled in the woods of Shutesbury, MA, exact location given upon registration

How much:  $95-125 sliding scale

Accessibility: We will be sitting on the ground with pillows and support at different moments during the day. There is an option to use a chair. The bathroom is located on the first floor with a couple of stairs to climb.

COVID: We will be outside for the entire day. This is a fair weather event and will be re-scheduled if it rains. Please don’t come if you have had any exposure to anyone with Covid recently, or if you have any cold symptoms at all. If you are unsure, please contact us to share your situation. 

BATHROOMS: You can use the woods or there will be access to an indoor bathroom.

About Michelle & Ryan:

Michelle Huber is a Circling facilitator, and is passionate about exploring the nuances of connection and disconnection. She is also a Feldenkrais practitioner, and has a history of leading peer-counseling and Spanish.

Ryan McArdle is also a Circling facilitator and is curious about the relationship between love and letting go. He is a psychotherapist and musician with a long history of meditation.

Together they have led many Circling workshops and a Love and Connection weekend retreat. This will be the 5th day-long Circling retreat in Shutesbury. They have consistently used Circling as a tool in their relationship for the past almost eight years.
