Here is a view on June 19, 2025 of Leslie Cerier’s, The Organic Gourmet’s organic, permaculture, edible forest garden.

As you can see there is a big mint patch that has spread into the path to naturally deter deer from stepping into the garden since they do not like to walk through a scented patch.

I also use the mint in Cilantro mint peanut sauce, infused water, salad dressings among other Personal Chef dishes and also for folks that come to study hands on cooking classes from the spring to the fall,.

Part of the charm of my hands on cooking classes is that folks can come into the organic garden to pick fresh organic herbs, edible flowers, vegetables for hands on cooking classes.

Fun, Delicious, a treat for all your senses and a great memory when you remember how easy it is to cook for your health and pleasure when you get home.

Also, in this video are raised beds with very young curly green kale, red beets, marigolds and Russian kale that is a delicious addition to a salad. Across this bed is another raised bed with English peas, snap peas, bush beans and you can also see the garlic and now flowering purple sage.

Come for a cooking class, a weekend, a few days, the peace will follow you home along with a recipe for inspiration for cooking in your home kitchen.
