organic blueberries

Feeling the blessing of Mother Nature. She gave me wild blueberries and it is such a joy to go out each morning and graze with the birds on native ripe blueberries. With 20 bushes and many low bushes multiplying and thriving in the woods near my home, there is plenty to nibble. And wild blueberries are smaller than the cultivated ones and very sweet.

Sometimes, I eat handfuls and then come inside and have eggs and fried dulse for breakfast or a bowl of yogurt with chia seeds. Organic blueberry pancakes, smoothies, pies, muffins, cakes, and raw cheesecakes. YUM!

I am blessed to enjoy my birthday during the heat of summer and have lots of fresh berries to share.
