Outdoor Impressionistic Nature Photo Show

Award winning, Impressionistic Nature Photographer, Leslie Cerier, shows her work outside.

As one of 11 artists on the Shutesbury, MA art tour on May 16, 2021, Leslie hung 5 of her 20 images on the shed and on easels to the delight for all who came out on this beautiful spring day.

Like impressionist artists, I am passionate about light, water, and landscapes. When I take my camera into the woods, I feel my connection with the forest, as if meditating – a way to get back to my true nature.

The sun calls me to a particular spot and I click the shutter when I see rich afternoon light. “Photographing the Jewels in the Water” is about inspiration and healing – about being so present in the moment that everything vibrates and shines; I see perfection in nature – patterns artistic jewels that reveal themselves.

My photography is a reflection of the peaceful energy I find in the woods; living in the moment, I capture beauty as I click the shutter.
