Living to the max: eating healthy, exercising joyfully, having delicious relationships. Being in nature, in our true selves, being real. Feeling energized, meeting each new day with enthusiasm, and wonder.


How do you live the super luscious life?

It’s about being fully present in the moment and saying yes to a sensual organic lifestyle. It is about the YUM inside the kitchen and out in the world. Nourishing your health and happiness. Nourishing others, nourishing the planet.

Because I live a super luscious life and I want to teach you to live a super luscious life. For 25 plus years, I have been teaching culinary nutrition and hands-on vegetarian cooking for health and vitality at some of the finest eco-friendly spas and holistic centers worldwide: Rancho La Puerta (Tecate, Mexico), Esalen Institute (Big Sur, CA), Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, (Stockbridge, Massachusetts), and Omega Institute (Rhinebeck, NY).

As part dancing queen, part athlete, part author and educator, I know how to celebrate the earth’s bounty. I have written 6 cookbooks: co authored Visionary Cooking, Food for the Eyes (E Cookbook 2013). My Gluten-Free Recipes for the Conscious Cook, A Seasonal Vegetarian Cookbook (New Harbinger Publications, 2010), was named one of the 12 best cookbooks of 2010 by Natural Solutions Magazine.


I have an organic garden and chop my own firewood. This to me is living in abundance. I am not talking about money, but my overall joie de vive for real whole foods, time in nature, and loving relationships.

What are some of my tools?

I offer nuts and bolts advice on how to incorporate healthy foods into your diet, how to green your kitchen, and add super foods from around the globe like goji berries, maca, coconut, and more. I have experience developing many recipes for natural foods companies like Nutiva’s organic red palm oil, organic coconut, hemp, ad chia products; Green and Blacks organic chocolate, Coombs Vermont Gourmet organic maple syrup, Lotus Foods exotic rice varieties, and The Teff Company’s teff grain and flour.

In addition to cooking, I will coach you to create balance in your life through activities that connect you with nature, reduce stress and rekindle your inner fire.


With over 25 years experience as a chef, author and educator, holistic doctors like Dr Mark Hyman and Dr Christiane Northrup recommend my cookbooks. Dieticians and nutritionists study cooking with me, and my private clients get help with challenging dietary allergy issues. I can help you change dull diets into culinary success and meal satisfaction.
